About the ASVAB
The ASVAB is a multiple-choice test used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces. It is a battery of ten subtests on the computer version administered at every Military Entrance Processing Station; four of them — Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, and Word Knowledge — are combined into the Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT) score, reported as a percentile from 1 to 99, which is the number most branches use for enlistment eligibility. The paper-and-pencil version, given at some Military Entrance Test sites, merges Auto and Shop Information into one subtest and does not administer Assembling Objects. Elk Ridge Academy is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department of Defense, USMEPCOM, or MEPS.
Free for everyone, no pass needed: the diagnostic · the AFQT calculator · the branch score pages.
