The notice in the window said the shop would reopen on Monday. On Monday the shutters stayed down, and by Thursday someone had taped a second sheet of paper over the first. The woman who runs the bakery across the street began writing the shop's old delivery times on her own board.
Question 1 of 14. Based on the passage, what can be inferred about the closed shop?
Hint: Compare the day on the notice with what the shutters did that day.
